Background

Hello my name is Hudson Parker. I am from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Growing up I played a lot of different sports including baseball, basketball, and soccer. I have had a couple eye procedures including a retinal reattachment and a cataract, both in my right eye. I started playing golf at the age of 10 and began to love the game. I would practice every day and continuously saw myself improving. This was also good because further injuries to my eye were not a worry any more. I moved to Tucson, Arizona in the summer going into my sixth grade year. We moved onto a golf course, and that gave me a great path to practice and play as much as possible. I competed in junior events right after starting to play golf, and after moving to Tucson, I knew it was what I wanted to do. I practiced every day throughout my middle school years and saw myself getting better each and every day. Starting high school was a great experience and big change. I got to be on a golf team for the first time and have made it to state both my Freshman and Sophomore year. I just recently won my biggest tournament yet at TPC Scottsdale, shooting 72–72 to win by two shots coming back from a three shot deficit going into the final round. I am continuing to better my game every day and seeing how my game can stack up to the best junior golfers in Arizona. I’ve always done well in school and take all advanced classes currently having a 4.00 unweighted GPA with a 4.37 weighted. I take great pride on what I do whether it be at school or practicing on the golf course and that will never change. My dream is to play D1 college golf and I strive everyday to accomplish that goal.
